Like most folks, this day has been preceded by a day of baking and preparing. And then to rise early on Thursday to complete the big feast and also participate in the Thanksgiving Celebration at the Rexburg Tabernacle.But this week I've been more preoccupied on what my oldest daughter was doing. She left the Missionary Training Center in Provo, UT and arrived in Ohio to spend the next 18 months serving the Lord as a Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I am grateful for her Mission President and his wife for having photos taken of when the missionaries arrive to their care and then posting them to the Ohio Cincinnati Mission Facebook page. It helped me to know she arrived safely and to see the others whom she had associated with at the MTC.
